Mother of Dachshunds is part of a series of pop-culture-inspired acrylics in vibrant colours that brought as much joy to paint as they hopefully will bring to collectors who choose to hang them. I love creating that feeling of surprise, a laugh, or smile, in the viewer, by presenting a familiar subject in an unfamiliar or unexpected way.
