"My Name In Lights III (Tomboy)" is an original 24x12" acrylic painting on wood panel. It is the third work in an ongoing series titled "My name in lights / all the things they called us", illuminating - literally - the words that have been used (not always kindly) to describe or refer to queer women, in the past and present.
This print is available in two options:
1. a limited edition (1 of 25) *signed and numbered* archival quality giclee print on textured fine art paper. This paper has an acid free base, PH Buffered, 100% cotton rag on 340 gsm weight. (image is 11x5.5" with a white border - total measurement 13.5x8")
2. an open edition print on matte photo paper (image is 11x5.5" with a white border - total measurement 13.5x8")
Both prints are taken from a high quality professional fine art scan of the original acrylic painting. Prints can be ordered on their own or with a custom smooth white mat to fit a standard 12x18" frame.
Works are carefully packaged for shipping in reused packaging materials to reduce the environmental footprint associated with getting my work safely to buyers. You may see the occasional Amazon logo in the packaging of your purchases from my shop, but you can feel good about knowing that waste is minimized in this way and rest assured that my neighbours won’t miss the cardboard scavenged from their recycling bins!
